It is important to see a dentist if you suspect that you have cracked one or more teeth. Still, there are a handful of telltale signs which could indicate that a significant amount of damage has occurred. 

Let us quickly list three of the most common symptoms of a cracked tooth.

  • You could experience a sudden sensitivity to hot or cold foods.
  • The gum near the tooth may appear red and painful.
  • A transient pain that tends to ebb and flow.
